Brecon started the game on the front foot by going over the line for an early try. Merthyr then responded well by scoring a couple of tries themselves. The first 10 mins was well matced and the tries were flowing with it being 7 tries to 6 to Merthyr. A change in personnel in the 2nd 10 mins for brecon and again the game was evenly matched with great tries being socred by both sides, with Brecon just edging it 4 tries to 3. The last 10 mins was again a great contest but this time coming out evens at 4 tries a piece, leaving the overall score 14 tries all, keeping Brecon's unbeaten start to the season. It was a great game of rugby with some great handling skills and support from both sides considering it was a damp and cold morning. Thanks again to all the parents for thier support today, and the boys for their committment and entertaining game of rugby which could have gone either way today.
