Fixture

Brecon's undefeated run came to an end today against a strong Abercynon side. Brecon went into the game having won the last 6, but came unstuck against a side who were far better taggers.  Brecon went behind very early on and the boys were a bit overwhelmed by how little time they were getting on the ball. Brecon then started to drop balls and make silly mistakes, meaning they went into half time 4-1 in tries down.  In the second half Brecon started strong and realised that if they kept the ball and ran into space they could score some tries of their own. They stepped up thier tagging and turned the ball over a few times scoring some great tries.  Unfortunately time ran out with the game ending in a 5-3 loss. A brilliant second half performance and if they play like that the rest of the season they wont lose many more games!

Brecon also played Rhydfyelin who were also at Abercynon for a game today. Brecon started strong in this game and scored some lovely tries, but Rhydyfelin had some cracking little players and a well executed switch move ,which caused Brecon some problems in defence. Both sides scored some lovely tries with Brecon coming out on top winning 9-6 in tries.
