Another long journey to Cowbridge RFC but it was all worth the effort ,with a brilliant performance from all 9 boys who played. On arrival Cowbridge announced that they had a 30+ squad of under 7's, split into 3 sides, which resulted in us playing 3 games. We started well by winning the first game 10-6 with some lovely team tries and good tagging. In game 2 the boys came up against some strong players, but ran away with the game in the second half winning 13-7, with a host of scorers and an amazing 5 tries from Gruff Peters! In the last game Brecon were outstanding; moving the ball around the pitch, with every player tagging really well. This resulted in a 11-3 win!!
The day was topped off with an excellent Mini's Christams party and the boys showing off their celebratory moves on the dance floor. A brilliant away game to end 2014 and lets hope the performance continue in 2015.
