For the Season’s finale Brecon 1st XV travelled to Ystalyfera with a remote possibility that they could overtake league leaders, Narberth and win Championship West. For that to happen they needed two results to go their way. First, they had to win with a bonus point at Ystalyfera. The second scenario was out of their hands in so far as Narberth would need to lose their final home match against lowly placed Maesteg Quins. Brecon did all that could be asked of them in that they came away from Ystalyfera with a 43 points to 12, bonus points win, however, Narberth secured their status.....
